■' The route will he from the Past Office : ' cbtoer along the Main South Road to t-Eweri Street, turning then and and crossing the Railway at Dyson’s crossing, and following the Arowhisnua Town Belt to Wilkin Street; The procession will torn - down Wilkin Street to the Public School, and will then proceed along the Milford load to the Park gate. The order will

Attached to the report was a plan of the ground, prepared by Mr Gaze, showing the positions the various sections of the proc ssion would take up around the planting of the oak and laying the foundation stone of the obelisk. The Volunteers will form a circle during the children, Band, and public bodies, who will fill the space avoir d the oak. Outside the Volunteers will be the general public. The report was carried, and a vote of thanks to the Procession Committee carried.
Mr Flint reported that about 25 ladies had promised to assist in attending to the children, and that provision had been made for 800 children. The Fire-works Committee reported that they had a magnificent display of fire-works, which would begin at 6 p.m, and would last over an hour. Everything was rep >r.cd as progressing satisfactorily. The meeting after having attended to other matters adjourned.
