AUCTIONEERS' REPORT.
GERALDINE. Messrs J. Mundell and Co. report sales for the week ending Saturday, 14th May, 1887, a 3 follows : The continued heavy rains prevented much business being done in live stock during the week. At Winchester Fair on Tuesday, we sold forward store steers and heifers at £4lssj cows (fat), £4 15^; co*s in full profit, £5 17s 6:1 ; dry cows, £2 2s 6d to £2 5e ; yearling steers and heifers lgs 6d. Store pigs, from 9< to 13*. On account of Mr Dalton we sold his dairy cows (removed for convenience of "al*), 14 head a' the following prices, viz., £7, £4 15s, £4, £3 15s, £3lss, £4 7s 6d, £4 53, £5 2s6d, £3 12* 61, £7 7s 6d, £5 103, £6, £5 159, and £6 5a ; bull 17s. 61, 2 yearling heifers at £1 and £2 sa. We have still several clients anxious to purchase good dairy cows. At our Rooms on Saturday we continued the sale of woollen goods, and a fair amount of business was got thrgugb.
