Melbourne, May 13. J: The Herald" statei that the numbc? of pereone injured in the Windsor rail way accident is 189. The funeral of Ihe lite Mr E. H f Parkes, late Superintendent of the Bank of Australasia, took place at the Mount V»rnon Cemetery to-day, and was laigely attended. The inquest on the bodies of those killed in the Windsor railway accident was opened to-day. After the bodies bad been identified, tho inquest was adjourned until Thursday. Tba Board of Inquiry in r connection with the accident held its first sitting this afternoon, the proceedings being private. \ MayH. Lempriere died at the Alfred Hospital last night from injuries received at the Windsor railway collision. May 15. All the persons injared in the Windsor railway accident are progressing favorably, with the; exception of Mr Cosmo N/wberry, whose condition is rather worse.
