THE SITUATION IN EUROPE.
St. Peterbsurg, April 12. A difficulty has arisen between M. de Giers, Minister for Foreign Affairs, and Kalkoff, the editor of the Moscow Gazette. All attempts at reconciliation have so far failed, London, April 13. The Daily News announces that M. da Giers has rcbigned, and will probably be.succeeded by General Ignatieff. Overtures were recently made to. Turkey to join the triple alliance between Germany, Austria, and Italy, and a reply has been received intimating the willingness of the Porte to accept the proposal.
