GERALDINE COUNTY COUNCIL. . SPECTAL~ORDER. 1 Ta Special Meeting of the Gcraldine _-\_ County Council, held on Wednesday, April 13th, 1887, at ]1 o'clock a.m., the following Special Order was passed : "That ttiiß Council do now strike a Special Rtite, i" accordance with the provisions of the ' Local Bodies' Loan Act, 1886,' of 5-l6tu- (five sixteenths) of a penny in the pound (£) on all the rateable property in the Rangitata and Orari Water-Supply District, for the purpose of providing the merest upon a loan of £2500, rais?d by the Geraldine County Council, under thn rrovinions of the ' Government Loans to Local Bodies Act, 1886.'" The said rate to be on anuual recurring rate for each year, commencing from the Ist January and ending the 31st of December, and to be payable anßually in one sum on the fjßst day of May in each yenr, until the said Loan be paid off. The first payment to be made on the first day of May, 1888. This Special Order is to take effecton the first d*y of June, 1887, and will be confirmed at a meeting of the Qeraldiße Counly Council to be held on Wednesday, 11th day ot May, 1887. By order. F. W.
