AUSTRALIAN CABLE. Melbourne, April 4. The Irish citizens of Melbourne presented an address to tbe Earl of Aberdeen and an album of Victorian views to the Countess, at tbe Town Hall tori ay. The Mayor of Melbourne presided. In replying to the address, Lord Aberdeen declared his steadfast adherence to Home Rule for Ireland and his convic'ion that it would ensure peace to Ireland and the maintenance of the integrity of the Empire. Lord Aberdeen left for Tasmania this evening. Lord Deerhurst, who reoently resigned tbe appointment of aide-de-camp to Sir H. Loch, has given notice that he will not appear in the appeal case Deerhurst v. Button. In consequence of this, Sutton's appeal will be allowed to-morrow.
