ATTEMPT ON THE CZAR.
London, March 29. Further arrests have been made of Nihilists suspected of designs on the Czar. One of the men deputed to assassinate the Emperor was directed by the secret league to carry a bottle of poison under bis clothing, resting upon bis bosom. A second emissary was deputed to watch the intended assassin. In the event of the latter’s courage failing, bis comrade was to smash the bottle and procure the death of his fellow-conspirator. St. Petersburg, March 30.
A fresh attempt on the life of the Czar was made at Gotschina yesterday. His Majesty, however, escaped without injury. No farther details hava yet transpired,
