V.R.C. AUTUMN MEETING. Melbourne, March 3. . The second day's racing of the Victoria Racing Club's Autumn Meeting took place at Fletniagton to-day. Among those present were Sir Henry Loch and Lord Oarrirjgton. Australia* Cot, 2\ miles.
The following horses started:—Nelson, Grace Darling, Arsenal, Trident, All Gold, Cyclops, Satyr, Lochiel, Desperado, Fhaon, Abuse, impulse and Ocean. After one falsi? start had been made, All Gold and Fhaon were first to get away, Nelson being slow to move. Desperado immediately made the running, going ahead at a great pace. In gaising the stand the first time he led y (twelve lengths, followed by Lochiel, Abuse and Nelson, Trident being well up in the ruck.
