The Slolla left Wellington for the South on Monday morning with the B'ilmon ova by the Kaikoura, which nrrived in excellent condition. It will be biken to Dunedin, Clinton, and luvercargill.
It is understood that the Government have a Bill ready for presentation to next session of Parliament, the object of which is to endow Wellington with a University, and with the services of the Geological staff for the Museum. The Bill will be introduced by Sir R. Stont. At Dunedin the Knox Church Kazaar realised £ISOO in a week. Excursion trains from Waikato to Auckland are being liberally patronised. On Friday and Saturday excursion trains carried 400 passengers.
