Splendid iptuuwM have been f©und by HcMam and Sullivan in a quarts clam, on the bill dividing Strawbridge's and Goslin's gillies. They intend to form a syndicate at once to work the claim. Mr Clark,, one of tb# prorrietors of the Ballarat Courier has returned from a viait to the Teetulpa goldfields. He expresses his delight with the fie'd, which he considers i» of large extent, and when thoroughly developed will prove one of the richest ever known in Australia. He lays tbkt the present! appliances for washing are primitive, and he believes that fully half the gold is lost. Water also Is scarce. He thinks, however, that these difficulties will soon be remedied. He is also struck with probable prospects ef qnarte mining in the district.
