AROWHENUA ELECTION.

TO THE EDITOR. Sir,— Will you kindly give me space in your valuable paper to thank “ Ratepayer ” for his kind and noble letter in my cause. It is comforting for me to know that I hate one kind friend in time of need, I am very thankful to him, and should have been more so had he coupled the names of Messrs Lee and Vallender with mine, for they did as the widow did with her mite—they gave all their time, if not money, especially Mr Vallender. To my knowledge he spent hours in the cause when ho needed rest.—l am, etc., George Bdgbler. Maud Flreet, Arowhenua.
