At the Addington Yards on Wednesday !ho yards fairly well filled, and the attendance of buyers about an average one. Fat cattle—A medium entry of beef, quality varied, middling demand, la'e rates maintained, viz,, 20s to 22s per lOOlbs, as per quality. Steers sold at from £5 5s to £8 15s ; heifers, from £4 2s 6d, t> £6 17s 6d. Fat Sheep—A faiily large supply ; quality on the whole hardly up to the average, lute values for prime mutton were more than maintained, medium and inferior unaltered. Prime crossbred wethers sold at from 12s to 16a per head ; medium sorts, 8s 6d to 10s 9d ; crossbred ewes, from 7s 9d to 13s ; merino wethers, from 8s to 11s 3d, being from l|d to 2£d per lb, as per quality, bio store sheep were yarded. Store cattle—An improved entry. Graziers were scarce, but fair clearances were made. Four-year-old bullocks in forward condition fetched as high as £6 13s per bead ; a lino of three-year-olds £4 2s 6d to £4 12s 6d. Dairy stock hut) afeo an improved entry. Business not very brisk at late rates. A fairly good number of pigs yarded, a fair propoition being baconers, for which a better demand was again shown. Values for porkers and stores still remain very low. Baconers sold at from 26s to 525, one very heavy weight fetching £3 12s 61 ; workers, from Hsto 20s ; stores, 6s and 7s each.
