WOODBURY SCHOOL COMMITTEE.

The monthly meeting of the shore Committee was held last Monday evening. Present—Messrs Dean (Chairman), Fiatman, Hammond, Heatley, and Gick, The minutes of last meeting were read and confirmed. Correspondence was read from the Secretary of the Board of Education, dated July 80th, stating that the sum of ±7 9s had been placed to the credit of the Committee as for the present quarter, From the same, enclosing Inspector's report of July 18th; also covering summary of attendance for the quarter ending June SOth, 1886. Frain Mr Greaves, tba fjeqd Master, thanking the Chairman for the perusal of the Inspector’s report, and stating that the Inspector was slightly in error supposing that Standards 11. and 111. had a drawing lesson of one and a-balf hours’ duration.
