Inferior and discolored 2s to 2s Id ; medium feed, 2s 2d to 2s 2£d 3 short bright teed, 2s 3d to 2s 4d ; stout milling are held «t 2a 5d to 2s 0d ; long Tartars fiom 2s 7d to 2a 9d, but in small demand, (ex store, bags weighed in.) Barley —No alteration to note. There is some Blight inguiry for mailing, but priceß asked by hoidersof suitable samples being rather above buyers' ideas of value, busines is slow. Stocks are very light. Prime malting 3s to 3s Id ; medium, 2s 9d to 2s lid ; feed and milling, 28 3,d to 2s 8d (ex store, bags weighed in). Ryegrass Seed—The market shows a little more animation; several parcels have changed bands during the week. Stocks are light, and the market firm. Farmers' undressed medium, 3s Qd to 4s 6d ; good to prime, off old pasture, 4s Od to 5s ; imported and machine dressed, 5s 3d to 5s 6d (ex store). 1 Potatoes Quiet at £3 15s for Southerns, and £4 for Kakajuis ; kidneys for fleed, £4. Grass Seed—Ryegrass, 4s 9d to 6s 3d for good lots off old pasture ; cocksfoot, 4jd to 4£d per lb. Butter—Salt, quiet at 8d to 94 ; fresh, Is to Is Id. E.ggs., is ; supplies plentiful. Turnips quiet at 20s (by the truck). Carrots, 4Qa, Sheepskins —At Monday's sale tofm butchers' green crossbred skins fetched from 3s 6d to 4s 6d ; merinos from 3s to 4s; country butchers' orossbreds from 2a 9d to 4s ; .Derinos from 3a to 4s; merinos from 2s 6d to 3a 4d ; Btation skins at from to 3s 9d. Hides— Prime (heavy weights), ox hides (salted und properly trimmed) bring 4d per lb, specially choice lots a shade more ; medium, 3jd to 3|d per lb ; light, 2|d to 3d. 'Tallow—lnferior, 13s to 108 ; medium, I§* to 183; prime mutton, 19s to 20s j rough fat—inferior, 6s io 7s ; medium \u good, 8s to 10s; prime mutton, free from other mixtures, 10s 6d to 12e per owt.
