As the express train from Launceston last night was crossing Bridgewater, about 12 miles from this city, the swingbridge opened, and the engine fell and got jammed against the buttresses. Ibis prevented the carriages following, but the tender turned topsy-turvy, and dropped into the river. The fireman and another person are missing, and they are supposed to have been drowned,
