Intelligence to band from Central Asia states that a difficulty has arisen between the British and Russian Commissioners for the delimitation of the Afghan frontier, who are now at Khoja Haleb, on the Oxus. The Russian Commissioners claim a tract of fertile country extending twelve miles along the banks of that river. The demand is objected to by the British representatives, and the difficulty has hem referred by the Commissioners to their respective Governments at St. Petersburg and London.
In the Crawford-Di ke divorce case, Mrs Crawford testified that she was seduced by Sir Charles Dilke, and detaii d her adulteries with the coresfn ndent and Captain Foster. Judgment has been reserved, Mrs Crawford in also stated that, she believed her own mother was the author of the anonymous letters forwarded to Mr Crawford.
The Queen’s prize at Wimbledon has been won by Jackson, of the Lincoln shire Vol inteers.
Russia threatens to occupy Port Lazaret!, alleging the British occupation of Port Hamilton as a pretext. The English fleet in Chinese waters has been ordered to proceed to Vladivostok. Later, In the Crawford-Dilke divorce suit, astounding disclosures have been made by the evidence which has been brought in denial of the co-respondent’s guilt. July 21.
The Extradition Bill about to be introduced into the United States Senate provides for the extradition of those guilty of manslaughter, larceny above 50 dollars, burglary, and malicious injury to property whereby life is endangered. The Prince of Wales ha* inspected the views of New Zealand scenery at the Exhibition.
The match for the Kolapore Cup at Wimbledon was won by the Mother Country, with a total score of 666 points. Tiie Canadian team scored 646, the Australian team 632, and the Indian 595.

Mr Shaw, who intends taking out an English Eleven to Australia next season, writes to the Press denying the statements that have been published that the Melbourne Clubs will refuse to lend I heir ground for matches to be played on, and he trusts that the gentlemen of England will not assist Mr Warded, of Australia, in selecting a team lor a colonial tour, as he consider* the latter’s proceedings are unfair to cricketers at Home.
The contest for the Corporation Cup was won by Armstrong, a Canadian. The following prize* in the match were won by Australians: —Private Churchill, ±.lB ; Penn, Sergeant Grimes, and Private Allen, £8 each ; Captain Powell, Lieutenant Cork, Color-Sergeant Gee, and Lieutenant Golding, each £5. The day’s proceedings terminated by an inspection of volunteers by the Duke of Cambridge, who warmly welcomed the Australian competitors. Sir Samuel Davenport, of South Australia, has been enrolled as a member of tha Ironmongers’ Society. Berlin, July 20.

In the Financial Statement last night the Treasurer showed the net income from railways to be £615,000, which returns 4.1 per cent, on the capital, the Hobson’s Bay railway reluming per cent.
