Higgins’ Secretary 1 Mr M. 0. Stndholrae’s Warlock ... 2 Sultan and Tres Sec also ran. Dividends—£s 3s, and £5 9s, Hunters’ Handicap Hurdle Race of 75 sovs ; about 2 miles. Mr G. B. St arky’s Lounger 1 Mr F. Cotton’s King Arthur ... 2 Mr W. Weston’s Aroha 3 Victor, Terauka, Master Guy, Daddy Longlegs, Bredonhill, Crescent, and No Mistake also ran. Free Lancs was scratched. Time—4min 12aec. Dividends—£24 10s and £34 6s. Tally Ho Handicap, c£ 115 sovs; about 2i miles. Mr R. J. Mason’s Victor 1 Mr W. 0. Rutherford’s Mainboom 2 Mr D. The Consolation Race was won by Mr W. Weston’s Aroha. Three others ran. Two tolaliaatoia were on the ground and did a good business.
