RESIDENT MAGISTRATE'S COURT.
Geraldine—Monday, March 29th, 1886,, [Before H. G. S. Baddeley, Esq., R.M. and Captain Temple J.P.J UNREGISTERED DOGS. P, OTtaw, Francis Brown, Julia Sugrae and J. Patrick were fined 10* each and costs for having unregistered dogs in their possession. CIVIL CASES. McDonald’v. Mulvahill-—Claim £lO. Dr Foster for defendant. This was an action in which the plaintiff sought to recover £lO for damages sustained by him through the defendant chasing his sheep and cattia about on certain days between the Ist of January and the Ist of March, 1886. Dr Poster objected to the case being heard on the ground that the plaintiff had not furnished a bill of particulars, and that no dales were given. The case was adjourned for a fortnight so as to amend the claim by inserting the proper dates. R. H, Pearpoint v. K. Green—Claim'" £6 i6s 7d. Mr White appeared for plaintiff. Judgment by default for amount claimed and costs. The Court then rose.
