RESIDENT MAGISTRATE’S COURT.

(Before H. C. S. Baddeley, Esq., R.M., Rev. Geo. Barclay, Dr Fish, and Messrs W. M. Moore, and R. H. Postlethwaite, Eaqs., J.Pa.) CIVIL CASES. The following cases were disposed of : M. Connolly v, J, L. Cook-—Claim £3 ss, for goods supplied. Judgment for plaintiff for amount claimed by default, 11. H, Pearpoint v. J. Bull—Claim £8 10s, for goods supplied. Adjourned on plaintiff’s application till next Court day. Defendant to receive one guinea for the day’s expenses. CATTLE trespass. Thos. Farrell was charged on the information of the police with allowing one cow to wander on the streets of the township. The offence was acknowledged and a fine of 15s was inflicted. This being all the business the Court adjourned till Monday, March Ist.
