THE ELECTIONS AT HOME.
London, Dec. 6. The Liberals have secured 311 seats to the Conservatives’ 244, and the Parnell ites’ 67. Dee. 7. The latest election intelligence announce 'he return of the Uight Hon. G. Osborne Morgan for Brcmfield, in the eastern division of D*-nbigshire. Mr Healey lias been elected for North Derry, and the Bight Hon. C. Stanhope and Mr Albert H. G. Grey have been re? elected for Horcastle and Tyneside respectively. The Liberals have now secured 515 seats, while the Conservatives and Par neUites combined have only returned 320 members. The Right Hon. Lord George H ami - ton, First Lord of the Admiralty, has been re-electei for Ealing, a division of Middlesex, defeating Mr Gordon Hogg by a large majority. Mr John Pender has been defeated for Wick by the second Liberaj candidate Mr Wallace, while for Waltbamstowe Division, Essex, Sir E. Baring, the Conservative candidate, has been defeated by Mr Buxton. Dec. S. The German Press deplores the failure of the Tories in the English elections.
