Sydney, Sept. 17. There was a large attendance at Tattersall's last night, but wagering was paralysed, and nothing important was done. Sloth is being backed for small sums at 100 to 5, and the following are the latest quotations for the Stakes : Despot, 100 to 30 (off); Prince Imperial, 100 to 20 (off) Silver King and Honeydew, 100 to 10 (off); Tom Brown .and The Broker, 100 to 8 (off) ; Sloth and Moo»* shee, 100 to 6 (off). Cairo and Hazard have been scratched for the Stakes.
