ANGLO-RUSSIAN DIFFICULTY.
The several colouies havij sent some heavy orders for torpedoes, guns and war material for defence purposes. The ceremony was of » spletidid character, and .was largely attended by influential native Prirces. The Ameer of Afghanistan made a speech, in which he expressed gratitude to the Queen for her favors, and stated the Afghans would join firmly with the British in resisting any external enemies.
