Wheat, per bushel, 3s 7d to 3< 8d ; market steady, but not active. F onr, town brands, £$ 5« to £8 K)< ; conntry do, £7 5s to £7 Kb. Freights to London, steamer, 25s to 27 s ; do, sailing, 27s to 3(K The freight market is weak. Charters are unaltered, and nothing is doing. ENGLISH MARKETS. London, Jan. 23. At to-day's wool auction 8400 ba'es were offered. The sale was steady, hut the demand active, bince the opening of the series 3400 bales have been withdrawn from sale, Adelaide wheat, ex store, has declined to 30s ; New Zealand do remains at 30a to 31s, and Adelaide flour, ex store, 265.
