This having been disposed of, the party proceeded to amuse themselves in accordance with their various tastes, Some wandered through the bush, whilst others engaged in such games as cricket, swing, dusty miller, kiss-in-the-ring, football, etc. At noon agaia tea was got ready, and the afternoon was similarly speDt, till about 4 p.m. when tea was disoussed again, and at 5 p.m. a start was made for home, which was reached about 8 o'clock, all being well pleased with the day's amusement.
