N.Z. METROPOLITAN MEETING,

These races commenced at Christcburch on Tuesday, the weather being wet and cold. A meeting of the Stewards was held at Dine o'clock to take into consideration the advisability of postponing the meeting, but it was decided to proceed. The attendance was fair.
