CRICKET.
MARRIED V. SINGLE. The first match at Temuka this season was played last Saturday afternoon in the Park, between the married and eingle members of the club. There was an excellent muster of players, and throughout the game some good cricket wag shown. Beap captained the married men and Ogilvie the Bingle. The scores madewere not very large, which must be attributed to the good bowling ot Ogilvie and G. Smith, who appeared to be in splendid form. The players who succeeded in getting into double figures were Ogilvie, 31 ; Gurr, 21 ; Wood, 21 and Heap, 12. Time would not admit ot the match being played out, and consequently it was decided on the first innings in favor of the bachelors. The following are the scores : MARKIED. First Innings. J.
