A SCHEME OF EMIGRATION.
The "Brewers" should to "Malta" go, The "Boobies" all to "Scilly," The " Quakers" to the "Friendly Isles," The "Furriers" to " Chili."
From " Spithead" " Cooks" go o'er to " Greece," And while the " Miser" waits His passage to the " Guinea Coast," " Spendthrifts" are in the " Straits."
" Spinsters" should to the "Needles" go, " W ina-bibbers" to " Burgundy," " Gourmands" should lunch at " Sandwich Isles " " Wags" at the " Bay of Fundy."
" Bachelors" to the " United States," "Maids" to the "Isle of Man ;" Let " Gardenera" go to " Botany Bay," And " Shoeblacks" to Japan."
Thus emigrate, and misplaced man Will then here no longer hover, And all who're not provided for Had better gr. to " Hanover."
If read between the lines, this suggests the splendid result to be achieved by carefully selecting any particular class of immigrants to the exclusion of others.
