ACCIDENTS, OFFENCES, ETC.
Michael McNarnee whilst working in Oanham’s firewood yard (Auckland), accidentally fell on a circular saw. One of his arms was cut off and the other nearly severed. He (bed after tne amputation of the injured arm at the Hospital. It is understood that Messrs Chapman and Fitzgerald, acting for Mr G. Fisher, a candidate for South Wellington, have served upon Mr W. Price a writ claiming £SOO damages for slander contained in certain defamatory statements made by Mr Price to certain South Wellington electors.
