RAUKAPUKA LICEFSING COMMITTEE.
An adjourned sitting of the Cornmitteo was held in the Courthouse, Geraldine, on Monday last. Members present— Messrs W. U. Slack (Chairman), L. Walker, W. Maslin and Dr Fish. MINUTES. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed.
TRANSFER rp LICENSES. The.licenseof the Bush Hotel, Geraldiae, was transferred from Mr T. Farrell to Mr D. Mcllwraitb. The license of ths Crown Hotel, Geraldine, was transferred from MrR. C. Bow-V" den to Mr T. Farrell. application for license. Dr Foster, on behalf of Mr James Watkins, applied for a license for the Rangitata Hotel, Rangitata. A petition was laid before the Committee requesting that the license be notgranted to the applicant. K After mature consideration the Committee decided to grant the license to Mr Watkins on condition that the same be transferred to a suitable person within six weeks from date. The license fee to remain the same as last year, viz., £lO. The Court then rose.
