A TERRIBLE TRAGEDY.
The European Mail says* —'A shocking massacre has just been committed by ene of the soldiers,of ihe 10th Infantry Regiment, quartered in the barracks at Naples. Havibg taken offence nt some of his comrades for calling him a tinker, he wnited until bed time, and immediHtf'y after the sigrul for extinguishing the lights was given, took down his rfle, »nd commenced firing indiscriminately arnoni; them. Before lie could secured he had discharged no fewer than 57 shots, k'llmg three men on the spot and wounding eight more, one of whom died aoon after being taken to the hospital, while five of the others are reported to be in a boptless state. It i? stated that this is not the first act of bloodshed whiih the man, whose name is Salvatore Misdei, has committed.
