What did ho gay ?” “ Well I only heard him tell the boss that he often got home purty late, and that you always sot up far him without sleeping any, and you had no easy chair, and ho thought mabby if you bad a right soft, easy one like this you’d go to sleep in it, and ho could slip upstairs and crawl in bed without wakin’ you.” “ Ah, that’s his scheme, is it 7 Well, you just take that chair right back again, and when he comes home tonight, if it’s to-morrow morning, I’ll be there a* usual, on my *ame old chair, and I’ll teach him how to injure my character before the pubic,” Then she slammed the door,
