Mr Posilrthwait*. at once communicated with the Immigration Department, with the result tbat the nomination was accepted and that the Manager is now to be imported fre.3 of cost to tb* company. Of course the colony must pay for him, but it pays for many a leas ujiiful immigrant, and there is nothing verv wros.g in bringing the man out as a nominated immigrant, while the company is saved very close on £IOO. The Manager is expee'ed to arrive by the Ist September n-it, so that he will have fixed his machinery in time for next season's milk.
