TO THE EDITOR Sir, —1 do not know what person informed you that I was almost covered with rotten eggs. Anyway they are very wide of the mark—only two eggs ever touched me or my clothes, and some one else had the full benefit of one. I had a shingle hit me in my back ; had it hit me in the head it would have stunned me. Now, Mr Editor, it does not reflect much credit on the larrikins or their parents, but I believe there are not many parents in Temuka that would wink at or boast of their children’s lamkinism.—Yours truly, G.
