AUCTIONEERS' REPORTS. CHRISTCHURCH. Messrs Kobert Wilkin and Co. report : At the Aldington Yards on Wednesday another limited ettry of fat sheep came forward, which supply, however, proved fully equal to the requirements of the trade, as there was a great want of competition tor the various lots offered, which found purchasers at prices about equal to last week's rates. Prime crossbred wethers sold at from 15s to 17s, while merinos realised 14s (for a prime draft from the flock of Messrs Gold and Cameron.) A fair entry of fat lambs changed hands at from 9s to lis, according to quality. Fat Cattle—A full supply met a dragging sale at an average, for prime beef, of 18s per lOOlbs. Sheepskins, Fat, Hides, etc.—At our usual weekly sale we offered by public auction about 2600 skins and 60 bags fat, the prices realised being a shade below our last week's quotations We quote sales of merinos at from lOd to 5s lOd ; crossbreds, at Is to 5s Id ; pplts, 6d to Is lOd ; lambskins, Is to 2s ; fat, from 2d to 2£d per lb ; bides, unsold.
