TIMARU YESTERDAY. [Before His Honor Judge Ward.] IN BANKRUPTCY. Orders of discharge were granted to the following debtors R. S. Cook (Ur Fosttr), T. B. Sheen OR Tosswill for Mr Aspinall), L. Tombs (Messrs White and Smithson), J. Cockroft(Mr Foster), Harry Pitts (Mr Knubley), W. Morgan (Mr C. Perry), John Cunnard (Mr Tosswill for Mr Aspinall). PROBATE AND ADMINISTRATION. On the application of Mr H. L. Forster, letters of administration were granted to Lemuel Newport, widower of Elizabeth Ann Newport, deceased ; and also to Louise Augusta, widow of the late Captain Bascand. civil casb £ R. H. Rhodes and another v. J. G. Whitaker—Claim £134, judgment summons. Mr C. Perry for plaintiffs. The defendant was not present, and Mr Perry stated that this was a case for recovery of an amount for which judgment had been given against him. Since the judgment had been given, defendant had filed, but counsel was now prepared to prove that he had neglected to file his four-day list, and was consequently not entitled to the protection of the Bankruptcy Court. His Honor granted an order calling upon defendant to pay the amount within 12 months in equal monthly instalments, in default to goto gaol for three months.
