ASHBURTON V. GERALDINE. A match between Ashburton and Geraldine Elevens came off at Ashburton yesterday. Ashburton won the toss and elected to go to the wicket, making 178 in the innings. Geraldine went in at 315 and succeeded in pu.ting 35 together before the slumps were drawn at 4.15. Of this Ogilvie and Briscoe contributed 14 each by careful play.
