On Wednesday last a team from Geraldine paid a visit to Ashburton, and tried conclusions with the Borough Club. The visiting team, though beaten, showed very fair play, both at the wicket and in the field, and the Ashburton Mail, from which we extract the scores, gives them very high praise for the skill displayed.
