Sir,—ln that part of yonr report of the Temuka Road Board meeting, where Mr Quinn is speaking on the various witnesses re repairs of Opihi bridge approach, it would appear to any one not acquainted with the facts, that I interfered in the proceedings ; whereas, as you are aware, 1 took down the evidence at the request of the Board, and there being some doubt as to Davis's evidence, I, for the information of the Board, quoted the evidence.—l am, etc., Geo.
