CHRISTCHURCH WOOL MARKET. Messrs Robert Wilkin and Co. report a small catalogue through unseasonable weather, but satisfactory prices. Highest crossbreds, 8d ; merino, 9|d ; scoured, Is 3id. Messrs Ford and Co. report a smaller catalogue of wool, lighter than last year’s. Competition fair, but prices Id to H'J lower than the average of last season. Messrs Matson and Co. confirm the above. ENGLISH MARKETS. London, Nov. 24. The catalogue at to-day’s wool auction comprised 9800 bales ; the tone of the market continues firm. Later. At the wool sales to date 50,000 bales have been catalogued and 7300 withdrawn. Home and foreign buyers are operating freely, and prices are firm. Crossbreds maintain an advance of id ; 8000 bales of the new clip have teen passed. Nov. 26. The breadstuff's market is unchanged, Adelaide wheat, ex store, is at 46s 6d, and New Zealand ditto 38s 6d to 44s 6d, Adelaide flour, ex store, is worth 325. The catalogue at to-day’s wool sale comprised ,10,800 bales, A firm and active demand was experienced.
