MILFORD SCHOOL.
The usual monthly meeting of the above School Committee was held on Monday, October stb, Present Messrs Woodley .(Chairman), Parke and Maze. The Minutes of the last meeting were readsand confirmed. A letter was received from the Board of Education asking date of Mrs Cain’s engagement as sewing mistress, and stating that a supply of stationery had been forwarded to Mr Ansted. Also stating that Mr Ansted had taken charge of the school. Summary of attendance and returns for the quarter ending September 30th was read. Notice was received from the Inspector stating he (Mr Gurr) would visit the school on Nov. 15th. A discussion then look plane about the children that did not attend school. It was proposed by Mr Parke, seconded by Jkz Maze and carried That the Chairman, see into the matter, and if the children do not attend he summon the parents without delay.* the Chairman was instructed to see to repairs of the pump. The meeting then terminated. The next meeting takes place on the first Monday in December.
