ENGLISH MARKETS,
London, July 16. Consols are quoted at a decline of A. New Zealand securities —5 per cent 10-40 loan has fallen 10s, and is now at 106 ; 5 per cent 1879-1904, loan has declined by 20s to 101 ; 4 per cent inscribed stock remains at 101, ex div. The market rate of discounl has advanced to 3|, and is now below the Bank rate.
There are no changes to report in colonial breadstuff's or tallow. The markets in both cases continue dull.
