The total quantity of wheat afloat for Great Britian is 1,950,000 quarters, being 300,000 less than the quantity afloat last week, Breadstuff* are unchanged. Adelaide wheat ex store 48s; New ZaaJan 1 do, 44s to 475. Adelaide flour ex warehouse 43s 6d. Australian tallow has advanced 6-1 per cwt, and beet beef is worth 41s 6d, and best mutton 435. The catalogue at to-d»y*B wool sale comprised 11,500 bales. A good demand was experienced. June 9. Cousols remain at 100$. New Zealand securities are quoted as follows :- 5 per cent 10-40 loan, 10«| ; 5 per cent 1889 loan, H>4£ (sic) ; 4£ per cent 1879-1904 loan, 102£i ; 4| per cent inscribed s*oc!c, 102£. At the wool sale to-day, 10,300 bales were offered. The tone of the ssle was firm. The frozen meat by the Garonne has realised 6d, and notwithstanding the bad condition of some of it the British King'a shipment from iLyttelton has realised an arera*reof 6fdper lb.
