The Melbourne manager of the National Mortgage and Agency Company of New Zealand (limited), reports ns follows :—Wheat is quiet at 5s to 5s 2d ; malting barley is weaker at 5s 6d to 6s. The market for New Zealand oats is steady, feeding sorts being quoted at 3s to 3s 3d, and milling do, 3s 3d to 3s 51; New Zealand oats under bond are worth 2s 41 to 2s Bd.
