COURSING.
The first meeting of the seison undir the auspices of the South Cintcrbiny Coursing Club took place on Wednesday, at thii Pareora. The day was favorable, but the ground w.is very wet. The dogs were got up splendidly, and the contests were keen.

Marshall’s f w b Myrtle, and won the stake. South Canterbury All- Aged Stake#, of £2 2s, for an unlimited number of all-aged dogs (prizes not stated) First Round. Mr B.
