Evidence of the complicity of the accused has been supplied to the police by informers. April 30. James Fitzharris, another of the Phoenix Park prisoners, was brought up for trial to-day at Dublin, and the case is still proceeding. In the House of Commons to-day Mr Trevelyan, Chief Secretary lor Ireland, stated that a widespread conspiracy to murder had been discovered in County Clare, in West Ireland, and the Executive hoped to be able to completely unmask the whole plot, Further portions of the cargo of frozen mutton ex Cuzco, were sold today. Telegrams have been received from Hong Kong reporting that great excitement prevails throughout China in consequence of the state of affairs in Tonquin, and the act’on of the French Government in pushing its claims in that country. The French raen-of-war have been warned of an attack by the Chinese, and ox*dered to keep watch upon the coast.

News has been received here that serious disorders have occurred at Port Said. Greek residents were attacked yesterday by a body of Arab fanatics, and several of the former were killed and wounded before the disturbance was quelled. The British troops now stationed at Port Said were called out and protected the Greek church from the destruction which was threatened by the Arabs. New York, April 28. file Irish Convention at Philadelphia has concluded its sittings and adjourned indefinitely. Before adjourning a motion was adopted denouncing English rule in Ireland, urging the banding of Irishmen in America aud Canada to obtain autonomy for Ireland by lawful means, recommending the organisation of a National League, and resolving to co-operate with Mr Parnell in his efforts to obtain redress for Irish grievances.
