A box which is supposed to have contained dynamite was exploded yesIsrday close to the Imperial Small Arms Factory at Enfield, The explosion did not, however, cause any damage to the factory or buildings in the neighborhood . Two blocks of warehouses have been totally destroyed by .fire at Liverpool. The loss is estimated at £250,000. In the House of Commons to-day, Sir H;- James,- Attorney-General, moved the second reading of the Affirmation in Lieu of Oaths Bill, and the debate is now proceeding. In the appeal case of Bradlaugh v. Newdegate, judgment has been given for the appellant, and Newdegate has been condemned to pay th 6 whole of the expenses. April 24.
