ENGLISH MARKETS . London, April 2, The market foi Australian bread stuffs is dull. Adelaide wheat, ex warehouse, is worth 50s, and New Zealand ditto, 46s to 495, according to quality. Adelaide flour, ex warehouse, is quoted at 345. Australian tallow is firm at last quotations, viz., best beef, 42s ; best mutton -1 Is Gd. The total stock of tallow in London to-day was 8100 casks. CHRISTCHURCH MARKETS.
Messrs Robert Wilkin and Co. report : — At the Addington Yards, on Wednesday, 8231 sheep and 353 head of cattle were yarded for the week’s supply. There was only a middling attendance of the trade, and the bidding was rather dull compared to late sales. The demand for stores was again very keen, and nearly every lot penned found buyers at satisfactory prices to vendors.
