The Melbourne manager of the National Mortgage and Agency Company reports of the local grain market as follows : —Wheat is very flat at 5s 3d to 5s 4d ; malting barley is quieter at 5s 3d to 5s 6d ; New Zealand oats are in fair demand, feed oats being worth 2s lOd to 3s 2d, and milling sorts 3s 2d to 3s 4d ; New Zealand oats, under bond, are slow of sale at 2s 3d to 2s 9d.
