Sir Bryan O’Loghlen, ex-Premier, who was defeated in the General Election, has announced his intention of contesting the seat for West Bourkc, rendered vacant by Mr A. A large open air meeting was held yesterday, at which a resolution was passed protesting against the vote ot immigration which has been passed by the Assembly, Mr A. G. Taylor, Member lor Mudgee, made an apology in the Legislative Assembly last night, for unfounded statements he made recently. The House received his apology. March 15. The Legislative Assembly has passed, by a very large majority, a vote ol £150,000 for immigration purposes. A walking match between O’Leary and Edwards, for £2OO a side, has commenced here. Edwards is, so far ahead, a position which he has maintained for some time since the commencement of the contest,
