Sydney, Feb. 19

The enquiry into the cause ot the recent tram accident, by which several persons were injured, was concluded on (Saturday. The Court found that the accident was caused by the negligence of the pointsman. Adelaide, Feb, 19.

For malting barley the demand has slackened, and prices have declined ; to-day’s quotations are 5s 3d to 5s fid. Oats are depressed ; New Zealand feed 2s ; ditto milling 3s fid ; New Zealand oats under bond are quiet but steady at 2s 3d to 2s lOd.
